|
The manufacturer of printing machines, Manroland AG, developed the Prindor technology. The system was introduced for the first time under the name
Inlinefoiler Prindor
on the Drupa 2004 printing industry trade fair in Düsseldorf. Next year, in the year 2008, Manroland introduced a second generation of Prindor, which gained the interest of the representatives of the Czech company TOP TISK obaly.

Manufacturer with tradition
|
The history of the Manroland Company reaches back into the second half of the 19th century. Back then, the engineers from the German Augsburg started to make an improved version of a rotary printing machine. This company formed the base of the later company MAN AG. Approximately at the same time, in Offenbach, the ancestor of the Roland Company was founded. The company was the first to start producing a lithographic press. The present Manroland AG Company was created by merging these two companies.
